Today, I'm linking up with Scarlett, from Speech is Sweet, to talk about another great fall book called It's Pumpkin Day, Mouse! by Laura Numeroff.

In this story, our favorite mouse, from If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, gets to decorate 7 pumpkins. It's a perfect story for little ones working on emotions, as the mouse paints different emotions on each pumpkin- happy, sad, silly, friendly, and surprised.  Two pumpkins go missing, and mouse finds that the dog gave the pumpkins scary faces. So, mouse changes this and makes them friendly pumpkins in the end.  Such a cute book!
